Damn Good Tacos

Yes, I went to Torchys Tacos, the original in the Food Truck Trailer Park, and yes everything was devilishly delicious. 

Austin locals refer to torchys as the Mcdonalds of tacos (not because of the terribly sourced ingredients, but because this taco palace has grown so rapidly it isn’t the cool local hip joint to eat out at all the time - many much prefer Gueros, etc) however I was left SATISFIED & SMILING when I bit into The Democrat (aka carnitas with freshly diced onions, cotija cheese, a whole half of a sliced avocado, cilantro, lime juice, and a special green tomatillo sauce over top).  The corn tortilla was sturdy enough to hold all of the filling, and had a wonderful texture to it.  In addition to the taco I demolished, they had a creamy, spicy, tangy and addicting queso sauce that I couldn’t get enough of. Overall I was pleased with the taco equivalent to McDonalds, in Austin, and I would definitely recommend it!
