Walking into this square shaped building I wasn't expecting decadent house-made ice creams, but boy did I get just that. Flavors ranging from Matcha Latte, Goat Cheese & Pecan, Chocolate with Candied Orange Peels, & of course the classics such as Straciatella, Madagascar Vanilla, and many other assorted gelato.

I, of course, chose to indulge in a Straciatella ice cream on a stick, or ice cream bar? (WHAT is the proper term for this masterpiece?!) It was exquisite, the perfect size, the perfect dark chocolate crunch, the prefect Straciatella filling, with a creamy vanilla. I don't eat ice-cream as often as id like, but this was a treat I couldn't pass up, and I'm SO glad I didn't!

Other than the amazingly flavored gelato, the staff was so friendly, informing me of which restaurants, bars and parks that were worth going to and even allowing me to taste the coveted Pistaccio flavor they weren't revealing until the following weekend.

When in Austin, I absolutely recommend visiting this square ice-cream shop.
